Four UMD students took home Excellence in Design Awards in the 2018 AIA Maryland Student Design Awards competition. Awards were presented at a celebration held on September 27, 2018, in Annapolis.

The purpose of the Student Design Awards Program is to promote architecture in the State of Maryland, recognize the works of local students of architecture, introduce students to the AIA network of support and continuing education for architects and allied design professions and build a relationship between AIA Maryland and the academic community. This program is part of AIA Maryland’s annual design awards program.
