Aquaculture Landscapes explores the design and future productive landscapes where fish cultivation, recreation, conservation, and waste management are enmeshed, symbiotic relationships between flora and fauna are encouraged, and where progressive public/private partnerships support sustainable and profitable enterprise. Aquaculture Landscapes posits landscape as the preeminent medium for designing the integration of aquaculture and the public realm.
Aquaculture Landscapes is a research and design project initiated and led by Michael Ezban. The exhibit features 12 international fish farm case studies and two speculative works.
