Open to Undergrad Studio Art and Architecture Majors
Architecture Professor Ronit Eisenbach and Studio Art Assistant Professor Brandon Donahue will be conducting an Information Session on the new Creative Placemaking Minor.
The new Creative Placemaking Minor is a collaboration between the School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation (MAPP) and the College of Arts and Humanities (ARHU). It is part of the University of Maryland Arts for All initiative, which leverages the combined power of the arts, technology and social justice.
Students in this undergraduate interdisciplinary minor will engage in place-based art and design projects in partnership with local organizations, knowledge keepers, and artists in select areas of Maryland, including the Purple Line Corridor. This minor currently offers undergraduates two tracks: one focusing on architecture and spatial practice and the other on the visual arts.
If you can't attend, email creativeplaceminor@umd.edu with questions.
