Pablo Güiraldes, M. Arch ’98, is an Architect and Urban Designer.
He has worked, taught and lectured both in Argentina and the U.S. His built work includes single family and multifamily residential architecture, Mixed-Use developments and Master Planned communities.
He has also worked in remote locations in Argentina, designing Interpretation centers and Natural Reserves.
Pablo Güiraldes has been working in the Public Sector since 2015, first as National Director for Urban Development with the National Secretary of Housing, and since May 2018 as General Director of Urban Regeneration with the City of Buenos Aires. In this capacity he is in charge of Historic Preservation of Heritage buildings in the city.
His area has been in charge of the Historic Preservation of Heritage sites and buildings in many neighborhoods of the city.
This lecture explores the lessons learned and the common aspects of his practice, teaching and writing.
