Design a garden for the 3D CUBE composition. The garden is a space to reflect and contemplate, and to observe the cube object as a sculpture. Students were required to design exterior spaces in the garden using a prescribed set of natural elements (i.e. pool, monolith, trees, and hedges). Student examined different locations to place their cube ad created a grid system based on their cube curved lines were not allowed. Students started the design process with a series of plan diagrams that examined: circulation, balance, vegetation, and hierarchy of spaces.
