Biography

Brianna Rhodes is the Content Writer and Social Media Strategist for the School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation. Her duties include producing news and feature stories about faculty, staff, students, alumni, partnerships, research, academics, achievements, development, scholarships, and events.

Brianna has worked on hundreds of stories throughout her career as a journalist and writer. She writes about various topics, including Black culture, diversity and inclusion, race, social justice, and historic preservation. Her articles have reached millions of Americans nationwide, shaping how they view brands, their community, and their culture. She has been published in outlets such as Blavity, Inc., theGrio, The Washington Post, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Brianna is a native of Kinston, North Carolina.
