The Jonestown Marketplace at Central is a reuse and repositioning of a historic former DPW Station in Baltimore City, Maryland. The project will provide a full service grocery store for the established community, collaborative workspaces for an emerging demographic, and turn an obsolete building into a destination. This development will serve as a solution to the food desert problem in the area. Instead of displacing and gentrifying the community, it will include people of all demographics. And most importantly, it will preserve the rich culture and history of Jonestown.
