At the intersection between human experience and the marsh ecosystem, the Monie Bay Field Station acts as a water filtration facility. Educational wastewater filtration terracing serves as the central organizing element, ultimately returning the water to the wetlands. The dormitory, research, and gathering spaces are connected by a linear porch space and organized around a decked courtyard to maximize views and access to the marshlands.
