The Jersey City Division of City Planning is seeking a talented&energetic candidate to work full-time with the Historic Preservation staff in daily operations of reviewing applications within the City’s 5 historic districts & 12 municipal landmarks
Required Educational Background: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Historic Preservation Program.
Preferred Experience: Relevant working experience with the Secretary of the Interiors Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties, Architecture, Urban Planning, History, and Historic Preservation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to read Construction Documents.
**Must be a New Jersey Resident or become New Jersey Resident within 1 year of start date**
