The Urban Studies and Planning Program at the University of Maryland provides the Master of Community Planning (M.C.P.), a leading graduate program accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board that prepares students to tackle a variety of issues and topics affecting communities and urban environments. The program offers a comprehensive core curriculum along with courses leading to specializations in environmental planning, transportation planning, housing and community development, and economic development.
