Digital Design Workshops are an opportunity for students to further develop digital drawing skills and develop good digital habits, experimenting with various softwares.
In order to advance digital innovation in the academic environment, the architecture program is hosting a series of interactive workshops where students can hone their digital workflow, and expand what is possible in their design studios. These workshops have four primary objectives:
The first, is for students to attain proficiency and discipline in essential digital design software. A baseline for productive work habits is established, so that students may establish a more rigorous methodological basis for creating digital drawings, models and renderings - this is the second goal. The third, is teaching students how to differentiate and leverage 2D and 3D environment workflows for effective design and communication. Finally, by enhancing students' ability to translate complex concepts, students can apply these lessons to designing objects and spaces.
